Part-Time Retirement Living Dishwasher

Maintain clean, sanitary dining operations as a part-time Dishwasher at Aspira Waterford Kingston Retirement Living in Kingston. Work a bi-weekly rotation.

As a Dishwasher, you will support residents’ health, well-being, comfort, and dignity through reliable kitchen sanitation. Your work includes cleaning dishes, kitchen equipment, and work areas, while contributing to the home’s wider team culture. The permanent part-time schedule includes evenings and weekend daytime shifts.

Key Responsibilities:

• Clean dishes, pots, glassware, and cutlery using sanitation procedures
• Use chemicals correctly in dish machine and pot-washing areas
• Apply the three-sink method for pot washing
• Clean kitchen areas, including mopping the entire floor
• Receive, uncrate, and store supplier deliveries as required

Requirements:

• Grade 10 minimum education required
• Smart Serve designation and one year dining room service experience
• Proven customer service skills and strong English communication
• Ability to work independently or within a team
• Safe Food Handling Certification preferred
