Janitor Floor Care Specialist

Floor care and detailed janitorial cleaning define this full time Janitor position with GDI, including carpets, windows, washrooms, and interior surfaces.

GDI provides integrated facility maintenance services across the United States and Canada. This Janitor cleans building areas, performs specialized floor and carpet tasks when requested, and maintains washrooms daily. The work also includes garbage handling, high dusting, wall washing, and reporting facility defects.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform floor, stair, carpet, and surface cleaning
• Strip and wax floors and steam clean carpets on request
• Wash windows, glass, trim, walls, and windowsills
• Service bathrooms, dispensers, floors, tiles, and waste baskets
• Monitor defects and report issues to supervisors

Requirements:

• Ability to use cleaning tools and equipment
• Attention to detail and pride in excellent service
• Organization, energy, and endurance for physical duties
• Work cooperatively with a team and minimal supervision
• Pass a Criminal Background Check
