Job description
Support Niagara Catholic facilities as a Facilities Electrician in Thorold, Ontario, maintaining electrical equipment and systems. The schedule is Monday through Friday.
This full-time, unionized position belongs to the Facilities Services and Maintenance Department. You will complete skilled electrical work across Board facilities, including installation, maintenance, repair, inspection, and troubleshooting. Your work supports safety, facility protection, and uninterrupted school operations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform skilled electrical work across Board facilities
- Inspect and troubleshoot distribution systems and related components
- Complete work orders through the computerized work order system
- Follow the Ontario Electrical Code and Board policies
- Update knowledge of evolving industry practices
Requirements:
- Ontario Electrician Certificate of Qualification
- National Electrical Code interpretation and application skills
- Demonstrated safe work practices and quality workmanship
- Strong written and oral communication skills
- Valid Ontario driver's license
