Retail Operations Supervisor Salvation Army

Support retail operations at The Salvation Army through merchandising, inventory control, and customer service in a permanent full-time position.

This Shift Supervisor oversees routine thrift store activities under the Store Manager’s direction. Responsibilities include receiving donations, maintaining displays, replenishing merchandise, and completing transactions. The work also involves staff guidance, store security, health and safety compliance, and service to donors and guests.

Key Responsibilities:

• Open and close the store following established procedures
• Receive, sort, price, and reconcile donated inventory
• Assist with window and merchandise display plans
• Replenish or remove inventory as directed
• Provide on-the-job training for staff when required

Requirements:

• Understanding of The Salvation Army’s mission and purpose
• Compliance with OH&S regulations and safety policies
• Two years’ store or warehouse environment experience
• Physical ability to lift and carry up to 30 pounds
• Strong teamwork and interpersonal communication capabilities
