What youll do
Diagnose and repair mechanical and electrical concerns using diagnostic equipment and manufacturer repair procedures.
Perform maintenance and repairs on Honda vehicles and other makes and models.
Complete Nova Scotia Motor Vehicle Inspections and identify required repairs.
Document diagnostic findings, work completed and repair recommendations accurately.
Communicate with Service Advisors to help customers understand their vehicles needs.
Work with the service team to complete repairs efficiently and maintain high standards of workmanship.
Maintain a clean, organized workspace and follow dealership and industry safety procedures.
What you bring
Red Seal certification as an Automotive Service Technician.
Valid Nova Scotia Motor Vehicle Inspection (MVI) certification.
A valid Nova Scotia drivers licence and an acceptable drivers abstract.
Strong automotive diagnostic and repair skills.
Attention to detail and a commitment to safe, accurate repairs.
Reliability, good communication and the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Honda or other dealership experience is an asset. We welcome qualified technicians with experience across different makes and service environments.
