Freight Account Manager

Own freight customer relationships through pricing, retention, and issue resolution in a hands-on account management role. Coordinate closely with customers, carriers, and Dispatch.

As a Freight Account Manager, you will manage an assigned book of non-Pattern freight accounts. You will own revenue, gross profit, retention, and account growth while quoting freight and sourcing carrier rates. The work includes regular MBRs and QBRs, customer escalations, load pricing, and responsive communication.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage assigned non-Pattern freight accounts
• Act as primary customer contact
• Own revenue, gross profit, retention, and growth
• Quote freight and source carrier rates
• Resolve escalations and commercial issues

Requirements:

• Experience in freight, logistics, transportation, 3PL, or account management
• Strong customer service and relationship-building skills
• Understanding of pricing, carrier rates, and transportation operations
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills
• Organization across multiple priorities and spreadsheets
