IT Infrastructure Security Supervisor

Lead infrastructure security and Microsoft 365 administration as an IT Supervisor with the Vancouver School Board, working fully in person in Vancouver.

This continuing full-time position supervises Infrastructure staff and strengthens the District’s technology services. You will manage network security, compliance programs, Microsoft Entra ID, and Microsoft Purview solutions. The work supports security, availability, performance, and reliability across IT infrastructure and operational services.

Key Responsibilities:

• Supervise, lead, and evaluate assigned Infrastructure team employees
• Coordinate complex Learning and Information Technology projects
• Secure wired and wireless network infrastructure
• Administer Microsoft 365, Entra ID, and compliance solutions
• Maintain security controls across digital assets and processes

Requirements:

• Degree or diploma in computer science or related field
• Five-plus years supervising technical staff, preferably unionized environments
• Advanced Microsoft 365 and Entra Conditional Access experience
• Expertise managing firewalls, network access control, and security policies
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
