Job description
Manage commercial lending portfolios with Meridian in a hybrid role based in St. Catharines or Hamilton, using credit analysis and relationship management.
As a Senior Relationship Manager, you will grow and manage diversified commercial accounts with medium to large lending needs. You will analyze financial statements, evaluate security, structure credit, and support customized banking solutions. The position serves members across real estate, construction, hospitality, and general industry.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage and grow profitable commercial financing portfolios
- Structure, negotiate, and document credit arrangements
- Analyze financial statements, cash flows, and business plans
- Generate credit and deposit opportunities through networking
- Monitor profitability, loan risk, and changing market influences
Requirements:
- Business, finance, or related university degree
- Two to five years of progressive commercial lending experience
- Experience managing real estate and construction financing
- Advanced business lending, credit, and underwriting knowledge
- Strong negotiation, communication, and presentation skills
