Power Systems Engineer III

Power systems engineering at Qualus combines arc flash studies, electrical design, and field support across office and client-site work.

As a Power Systems Engineer III, you provide technical and engineering support for field projects, engineering studies, and design work. You update electrical drawings, develop study reports, and communicate recommendations to customers. The work uses SKM, ETAP, or EasyPower and includes commercial, industrial, education, healthcare, and generation facilities.

Key Responsibilities:

• Update one lines, wiring diagrams, and schematics
• Perform arc flash, coordination, and short circuit studies
• Develop relay settings and arc flash mitigation designs
• Support electrical testing and field service projects
• Present findings and recommendations to customers

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or technologist certification
• Three or more years of power systems engineering experience
• Experience with SKM, ETAP, EasyPower, or equivalent
• Knowledge of CEC/OESC, Z462, and applicable standards
• Ability to travel 30% and work in the United States
