Electronics Assembly Soldering Technician

Apply advanced soldering and fine motor skills as an Electronic Assembler supporting Onstream Pipeline Inspection’s specialized electronics division. Build precise components and cable assemblies.

This Electronic Assembler position supports MISTRAS Group, Inc.’s pipeline inspection technology. You will assemble electronic components, solder SMT and through-hole assemblies, and test sub-assemblies. The work requires careful attention to detail, safe production practices, and consistent quality in a shop environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform precise SMT and through-hole component soldering
• Assemble and route custom cables and wiring harnesses
• Conduct functional and continuity testing on electronic assemblies
• Use proprietary software for diagnostics and verification tests
• Maintain a clean, organized, static-safe workspace

Requirements:

• High school diploma required
• One to three years electronics assembly or rework experience
• Intermediate to advanced soldering abilities
• Ability to interpret basic electronic schematics
• Excellent manual dexterity and attention to detail
