Electrical Engineering Drafter AutoCAD

Use AutoCAD to prepare electrical drawings as a full-time Electrical Engineering Drafter in Surrey. Support building and construction projects with precision.

This position sits within the Electrical Engineering department and supports design and construction documentation. You will develop lighting, power distribution, and electrical layout drawings while coordinating with engineers and other disciplines. The work requires accurate revisions, organized documentation, and clear communication.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare and revise electrical engineering drawings using AutoCAD
• Develop lighting and power distribution drawings
• Prepare electrical plans, schedules, details, and construction documents
• Coordinate drawings with mechanical, plumbing, architectural, and structural disciplines
• Incorporate engineering markups and revisions accurately

Requirements:

• Diploma or certificate in Electrical Engineering Technology, Drafting, or related field
• Proficiency in AutoCAD
• Understanding of electrical building systems, drawings, and applicable codes
• Strong attention to detail, organization, and communication skills
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively within multidisciplinary teams
