Part-Time Food Services Cashier

Serve Brandon University customers as a part-time Food Services Cashier, supporting weekend operations through cashier service, stocking, and food preparation.

This term position supports the Brandon University Food Service team under the Food Services Manager and Executive Chef. You will maintain service standards while preparing fruit cups and parfaits, maintaining stations, and supporting catering functions. Attention to detail and flexibility are essential.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform cashier duties during daily food service operations
• Stock BU Fresh shelves, coolers, and fresh fruit
• Prepare parfaits and fruit cups for retail service
• Maintain soup and toast stations
• Set up catering functions and complete assigned cleaning

Requirements:

• Grade 12 or equivalent completion
• Related food production and handling experience
• Excellent customer service and cashier experience
• Safe Food Handling course required
• Ability to lift up to 20 kilograms
