Director of Food and Beverage Operations

Lead food and beverage operations across RED Mountain Resort and The Josie Hotel, balancing service standards, financial controls, and team development.

As Director of Food and Beverage, you will oversee mountain dining, après-ski, upscale restaurant service, weddings, and special events. This hands-on leadership role connects people, service, and operations across two distinct hospitality businesses. You will guide budgets, forecasts, staffing, guest experience, culinary partnerships, beverage programs, and operational improvements while respecting each property’s character.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead business plans, budgets, forecasts, and operating priorities
• Stabilize daily operations and establish clear management routines
• Set service, culinary quality, cleanliness, and presentation standards
• Develop beverage, menu, event, and après-ski programs
• Improve revenue, labour productivity, costs, and profitability

Requirements:

• Seven or more years of progressive food and beverage leadership experience
• Experience leading multiple outlets and hospitality management teams
• Experience with budgets, forecasting, inventory, menu costing, and pricing
• Serving It Right and FoodSafe certifications required or obtainable
• Ability to work across both properties and peak periods
