Job description

Use IBM WebSphere, UrbanCode, and Spring Boot to deliver tested applications as a Senior WebSphere Application Developer. This position follows a hybrid schedule with three onsite days.

The senior developer works across J2EE application development, portal development, and commercially available API integration. Responsibilities include translating systems specifications, expanding data pipelines, and performing extraction, transformation, and loading. The technical environment includes WebSphere Application Server 8.x, JSP, RSA or Eclipse, React, Angular, CSS, Oracle, open-source databases, DevOps, and CICD.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Translate technical systems specifications into applications
  • Design and implement data pipelines
  • Perform extraction, transformation, and loading
  • Support API design and implementation
  • Use load balancing, discovery, and resiliency integration

Requirements:

  • 10+ years with WebSphere development tools
  • 10+ WebSphere portal development experience
  • Experience with IBM UrbanCode tools
  • 10+ years using Spring Framework and WebSphere 8.x
  • DevOps, CICD, and Spring Boot experience
