Job description
Apply ABA assessment and treatment expertise as a Behaviour Specialist with The Salvation Army’s Broadview Village. Support clients, families, and staff through consultative services.
This Behaviour Specialist provides Applied Behaviour Analysis assessment, treatment, consultation, workshops, education, and resource support. The work spans developmental and mental health sectors, helping reduce problem behaviours and enhance skills. You will guide intervention programs, support safety, and maintain accurate case documentation.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct behavioural assessments for Broadview Village programs
- Structure, monitor, evaluate, and revise intervention programs
- Support clients managing behaviour and aggressive actions
- Deliver workshops, educational sessions, and materials
- Maintain complete and accurate case documentation
Requirements:
- Degree in Occupational Therapy or Behavioural Sciences preferred
- Psychology degree with behavioural analysis expertise considered
- Comprehensive theoretical and practical ABA knowledge
- Specialized knowledge conducting functional assessments
- One to five years’ experience, depending on education
Use ABA principles, functional assessments, and consultation to strengthen client outcomes across Broadview Village services.
