Thrift Store Shift Supervisor

Support daily thrift store operations through customer service and transaction accuracy as a full-time Shift Supervisor with The Salvation Army. This permanent role helps maintain uninterrupted service.

The Shift Supervisor supports the Store Manager across routine store activities and works as a Sales Associate. Responsibilities include customer and donor service, cash and debit transactions, donation processing, inventory control, and store presentation. In the Store Manager’s absence, the position acts as Team Lead or Working Supervisor for Store Associates.

Key Responsibilities:

• Support the Store Manager with daily store operations
• Process donations through sorting, pricing, packing, and storage
• Complete accurate cash and debit customer transactions
• Maintain organized displays, shelves, and sales floor areas
• Open or close the store following established procedures

Requirements:

• Completion of some high school
• Two years of store or warehouse experience
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
• Ability to lift up to 30 pounds without assistance
• Successful applicable screening and background checks
