Environmental Services Housekeeping Aide

Support safe patient environments in Brandon through housekeeping, laundry, and infection control work during anticipated day shifts. This 0.50 FTE position follows established procedures.

Prairie Mountain Health seeks an Environmental Services Aide within Clinical Support. The work includes cleaning assigned areas, processing linen, restocking supplies, and maintaining equipment. You will prioritize scheduled duties, inspections, inventories, and extra cleaning within established timeframes.

Key Responsibilities:

• Clean assigned areas using approved equipment and products
• Process, fold, transport, and distribute laundry and linen
• Inspect areas for cleanliness before shift completion
• Collect waste and maintain housekeeping carts
• Support quality control audits and staff orientation

Requirements:

• Grade 9 education under Manitoba standards
• Demonstrated dexterity and efficient work methods
• Organizational skills and ability to work independently
• Communication, problem-solving, and decision-making skills
• Ability to respect confidentiality and cultural diversity
