Veterinary Inventory Facilities Coordinator

Coordinate hospital inventory and facilities in Vancouver with Woofware, purchasing, maintenance, and operational support responsibilities. Support VAERC’s daily hospital operations during primarily business-hour shifts.

As Inventory and Facilities Coordinator, you will oversee purchasing, inventory control, facilities maintenance, and operational support for VAERC. The work includes supplier coordination, inventory spreadsheets, Microsoft Office, Outlook, and Woofware. You will also support equipment servicing, building maintenance, and hospital events.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage inventory levels, ordering, receiving, returns, and special orders
• Monitor usage, pricing, sales history, and inventory reports
• Coordinate quarterly counts and maintain organized stock rooms
• Coordinate equipment maintenance, repairs, inspections, and servicing
• Support building, security, safety, and maintenance services

Requirements:

• Strong communication, interpersonal, organizational, and problem-solving skills
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively with minimal supervision
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and Outlook
• Preferably proficiency with Woofware and inventory spreadsheets
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
