Project Accounting Manager Construction

Manage project accounting for ONNI Group’s construction and development work, with expertise in job costs and financial reporting. Support project teams through accurate analysis.

This Cost Accounting Manager role leads accounting operations across active projects, connecting field information with Finance requirements. You will review job cost reports, maintain budgets and forecasts, and identify variances with Project Managers. The position also develops project accountants and maintains consistent processes through project close-out.

Key Responsibilities:

• Review job costs for accurate coding and project performance reporting
• Enter and approve project budgets and ongoing forecasts
• Identify variances and risks with Project Managers
• Train, mentor, and develop project accounting staff
• Process monthly construction and intercompany billings

Requirements:

• Four or more years of construction or development accounting experience
• Experience with budgeting and forecasting
• Positive, self-motivated problem-solving approach
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy
• Adaptability in a fast-paced environment
