Entry Level Laboratory Technician C
Build entry-level laboratory experience with AGAT Laboratories through sample preparation, data validation, and instrument maintenance in Thunder Bay. Evening scheduling applies.
AGAT Laboratories seeks two seasonal Laboratory Technician C employees for work under a Laboratory Supervisor. The position assists with laboratory tasks and reporting data, including calibration preparation and assigned instrument operation. You will follow Quality Control and Standard Operating Procedures, meet turnaround specifications, and report results. Work follows four days on and four days off, with possible night shifts requiring availability. Employment ends May 1, 2027.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist with laboratory tasks and data reporting
- Perform sample, reagent, and calibration preparation
- Follow Quality Control and Standard Operating Procedures
- Meet quality assurance and turnaround specifications
- Compile, validate, and report laboratory data
Requirements:
- Degree or diploma in Science required
- Equivalent experience may be considered
- Zero to two or more years laboratory experience
- Strong attention to detail and computer skills
- Fluent written and verbal English
