Job description
Apply SQL queries and PowerShell scripting as an Application Support Technician at Octacom, working on-site in Richmond Hill. Troubleshoot Windows applications and services.
Reporting to the Senior Application Support Technician, you will support internal production and client services teams. Analyze application performance, data, user feedback, and errors to resolve issues. Collaborate with developers and operations to optimize applications and improve processes.
Key Responsibilities:
- Troubleshoot intermediate to complex Microsoft Windows support issues
- Resolve real-time in-house and third-party application problems
- Prioritize high-severity, high-impact service disruptions
- Document application configurations and improvement recommendations
- Communicate with customers throughout issue resolution
Requirements:
- Degree in computer science or equivalent work experience
- Two-plus years in technical support
- One-plus year supporting applications
- Two-plus years using SQL queries and PowerShell scripting
- On-site availability in Richmond Hill
