Senior Living Housekeeper

Support clean, sanitary senior living spaces as a Housekeeper with Cogir Senior Living, working 30 hours weekly from Monday through Thursday.

Cogir Senior Living manages retirement residences offering independent living, assisted living, and memory care. This Housekeeper cleans resident suites and community common areas, including guest and respite suites. The work includes laundry, floor care, garbage removal, documentation, training, and safe chemical handling.

Key Responsibilities:

• Clean and sanitize resident suites and community common areas
• Complete laundry, bed stripping, and bed making duties
• Operate floor care machines and steam cleaning equipment
• Collect garbage and transport it to designated areas
• Follow residence policies, safety practices, and WHMIS guidelines

Requirements:

• Good oral and written English communication skills
• Knowledge of standard institutional cleaning techniques
• Experience with commercial, residential, healthcare cleaning, or laundry desirable
• Ability to work with minimal supervision
• Current Vulnerable Sector Check or willingness to obtain one
