Job description
Azure data engineering expertise meets a remote contract with occasional Edmonton meetings. Use Python, PySpark, SQL, and Databricks on enterprise initiatives.
Supreme International seeks Intermediate and Senior Data Engineers supporting Azure data engineering, analytics, and enterprise data integration for the Government of Alberta. The six-month contract requires experience aligned with enterprise ETL/ELT workflows, analytics-ready datasets, and Azure services. Senior candidates additionally bring Talend integration, administration, runtime support, and production troubleshooting.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support Azure data engineering and analytics initiatives
- Develop enterprise ETL and ELT workflows
- Design analytics-ready datasets, semantic layers, and data marts
- Support enterprise data integration solutions
- Provide production incident management and root-cause analysis
Requirements:
- Experience with Azure Databricks, Delta Lake, Workflows, Jobs, and Notebooks
- Python, PySpark, and SQL enterprise workflow experience
- Azure Storage, Synapse, Git, and GitHub experience
- Talend Studio, TMC or TAC administration experience
- AI experience for code generation and automation
