Assistant Store Manager Retail Leadership

Lead retail operations for Columbia Sportswear Canada as an Assistant Store Manager, coaching teams and strengthening consumer engagement. Work 40 hours weekly year round.

In this assistant leadership position, you will guide Sales Associates and Supervisors while supporting the Store Manager. You will develop product knowledge, selling skills, and brand loyalty through training and coaching. The work centers on effective operations, customer service, inclusion, teamwork, productivity, and profitability.

Key Responsibilities:

• Direct daily operations for supervisors and associates
• Coach selling skills, products, and technologies
• Create strategies improving engagement, sales, and profitability
• Assist interviewing, hiring, onboarding, and team development
• Schedule weekly shifts and maintain inventory accuracy

Requirements:

• Five or more years of relevant experience
• Inventory, POS, and retail software proficiency
• Experience driving engagement and personalized service
• Effective communication with teams and consumers
• Flexible retail schedule availability and physical mobility
