Landscape Construction Supervisor
Lead landscape construction, grounds maintenance, and planting work outdoors at a physical worksite. Use technical advice and staff supervision to improve property functionality.
This Landscaping Supervisor position requires three to less than five years of experience and college or CEGEP education. You will direct landscape construction, organize planting, and supervise three to four people. The work covers lawn care, tree service, garden centres, nurseries, greenhouses, and grounds maintenance. Responsibilities also include labour estimating, material ordering, work records, and resolving productivity or quality problems.
Key Responsibilities:
- Direct planting of trees, gardens, and lawns
- Plan and supervise landscape construction work
- Hire, schedule, and supervise three to four staff
- Organize decks and decorative or retaining wall construction
- Order supplies, equipment, and materials
Requirements:
- College or CEGEP education
- Three to less than five years of experience
- Valid driver's licence
- English language ability
- Ability to work outdoors under pressure
