PCB Programming Software Engineer

This Junior Software Engineer role focuses on programming and integrating embedded control systems for industrial equipment. You will work with electrical, mechanical, and software teams on PCB layouts, microcontrollers, sensors, actuators, and real-time applications. Your work supports automation and manufacturing solutions serving Jamesway’s global poultry industry customer base.

Key Responsibilities:

• Work with electrical engineers on PCB design validation
• Implement firmware for real-time industrial control applications
• Develop SCADA, PLC, and HMI monitoring interfaces
• Implement Modbus, CAN, Ethernet/IP, and PROFINET protocols
• Conduct functional and performance testing for reliability

Requirements:

• Degree with two-plus years’ experience or diploma with five-plus years
• Three to five years’ industrial automation experience preferred
• Understanding of PCB design using Altium, KiCad, or Eagle
• Knowledge of PID controllers and real-time control
• Experience with industrial protocols and SCADA/HMI integration
