Industrial Electrical Maintenance Technician
Apply electrical troubleshooting and preventative maintenance expertise as an Apotex Technician, Electrical supporting pharmaceutical production equipment and machine reliability. Work across electrical, electronic, and computerized systems.
This Technician, Electrical role supports a key production function at Apotex. You will maintain equipment integrity through repairs, calibrations, GMP activities, and proactive maintenance. The work includes PLCs, HMIs, PC hardware, vision systems, network troubleshooting, SAP maintenance activities, and production projects. You will also help train colleagues on proper equipment operations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Maintain predictive, preventative maintenance, and calibration programs
- Install, repair, and maintain electrical production equipment
- Diagnose issues using electrical testing equipment
- Execute electrical upgrades, improvements, and OQ activities
- Communicate equipment issues, actions, and resolutions clearly
Requirements:
- Electrical or Electronics Technologist diploma
- Industrial Electrician or Construction Maintenance Licence with suitable experience
- Knowledge of PLCs, including Allen Bradley and Siemens
- Strong communication, organization, and planning skills
- Availability for shifts, including weekends
Support Apotex production reliability through electrical repairs, PLC knowledge, preventative maintenance, calibration, and equipment troubleshooting expertise.
