Packaging Printing Machine Operator

Operate packaging printing equipment at Labelink while learning job-ticket interpretation, plate installation, console controls, and quality procedures. Training is provided.

This Press Operator position develops the skills required to prepare and run packaging print jobs. You will learn four-color process printing, spot colors, die-cutting, troubleshooting, and tension adjustment. The work also includes verifying customer-approved proofs and identifying regular or pharmaceutical products accurately.

Key Responsibilities:

• Examine tickets and verify customer specifications before setup
• Transfer dies and communicate plate records for press production
• Set up cylinders, anilox components, plates, and stock
• Learn one- to six-color and one-ply job production
• Verify proofs, product identification, and related dies

Requirements:

• One to three years of experience in a printing plant
• Strong reading and comprehension in English and or French
• Methodical, organized, observant, and quality-driven work habits
• Good vision and ability to differentiate colors
• Flexibility for weekend and overtime work when required
