Penske Technician II Truck Maintenance

Penske seeks a Technician II for evening truck maintenance in Stoney Creek, focused on component repair, diagnostics, and preventive service.

This position supports Penske Truck Leasing/Transportation Solutions at 510 South Service Road. You will assist with major component overhauls or replacements while independently diagnosing clutches, PTO systems, electrical systems, hydraulic and air brakes, heating and air conditioning, instruments, gauges, and preventive maintenance services. The schedule is Monday through Friday, 4:30 p.m. to 1:00 a.m., with a stated second-shift differential.

Key Responsibilities:

• Support overhaul and replacement of major components
• Repair engines, power trains, transmissions, and differentials
• Troubleshoot starters, alternators, ECMs, sensors, and HVAC systems
• Inspect brakes, steering, wheel bearings, and suspension
• Document warrantable repairs on repair orders

Requirements:

• Two years practical tractor trailer maintenance experience
• Current apprenticeship enrollment and government registration
• Specialized vehicle component repair training preferred
• Basic computer skills preferred for maintenance data entry
• Ability to work in non-climate-controlled conditions
