Forestry Inventory and Equipment Supervisor

Manage forestry inventory and equipment in High Level, Alberta, using asset tracking, procurement, and warehouse supervision skills daily.

The Ministry of Forestry and Parks is hiring a permanent, full-time Warehouse Supervisor for the High Level Forest Area. This position maintains accurate inventory and asset records while coordinating purchasing, procurement, equipment maintenance, and disposal. You will support Wildfire Management and Forest Operations activities.

Key Responsibilities:

• Maintain inventory and asset records accurately
• Ensure equipment meets provincial maintenance standards
• Coordinate purchasing, requisitions, coding, and asset tracking
• Manage surplus and disposal of obsolete equipment
• Train staff in logistical and equipment support

Requirements:

• High school diploma with three years of related experience
• Class 5 Driver’s Licence
• Standard First Aid certification
• Inventory, procurement, or asset-management experience is an asset
• Microsoft 365 experience is an asset
