Shoppers Drug Mart Pharmacy Assistant

Support prescription dispensing and customer service as a Pharmacy Assistant at Shoppers Drug Mart, with careful data entry and medication preparation.

This position assists with pharmacy services, technical dispensing functions, and Pharmacy operations. You will gather prescription information, process refills, select medications, and provide timely, pleasant service. Clinical inquiries and counseling requests go to the pharmacist.

Key Responsibilities:

• Greet customers and gather prescription information according to Standards
• Enter prescriptions and process refill requests accurately
• Select, count, measure, package, and label medications
• Process payments and maintain the dispensary cash register
• Refer clinical inquiries and counseling needs to pharmacists

Requirements:

• High School Diploma
• Pharmacy Assistant credited course diploma preferred
• Previous pharmacy experience preferred
• Effective organizational and multitasking skills
• Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
