Lean Six Sigma Manufacturing Engineer

Apply Lean and Six Sigma to manufacturing improvement at Atlantic Packaging in Brampton, Ontario. This full-time engineering role emphasizes waste reduction and quality.

The Process and Continuous Improvement Engineer supports plant operations while improving efficiency, process consistency, and product quality. Reporting to the Continuous Improvement Manager, you will standardize processes, manage projects, and collaborate with production, quality, and maintenance teams. You will also train production staff and promote continuous improvement.

Key Responsibilities:

• Apply Lean principles to streamline manufacturing workflows
• Use Six Sigma to reduce variability and standardize processes
• Collaborate on cross-functional improvement projects
• Monitor process performance using SPC techniques
• Prepare project reports with key performance indicators

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in mechanical or industrial engineering
• Two to three years’ manufacturing environment experience
• Experience with Statistical Process Control
• Demonstrated Lean manufacturing and Six Sigma experience
• Packaging industry experience is preferred
