Mechanical Branch Operations Manager

Lead 24/7 Mechanical Branch operations in Prince County through workforce supervision, resource allocation, and safe, reliable service delivery.

The Department of Transportation and Infrastructure seeks a Depot Manager for overall facility management. You will direct staff, services, equipment, and materials while supporting operational excellence. The work includes budgets, policies, maintenance systems, seasonal readiness, and customer service.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage daily Mechanical Branch operations within a 24/7 environment
• Lead supervisors and staff through priorities, guidance, and evaluations
• Allocate equipment, tools, and materials for operational requirements
• Oversee budgets, forecasts, financial reports, and cost controls
• Ensure safety compliance, incident management, and operational readiness

Requirements:

• Post-secondary business degree or related Red Seal trade qualification
• Extensive senior-level supervisory and related management experience
• Experience managing budgets and fleet or facility operations
• Strong computer skills, including Microsoft Office and information systems
• Valid driver’s license and current clean abstract
