Chartwell Guest Attendant Personal Care

Support older adults with personal care and mobility as a Guest Attendant at Chartwell. Help residents live comfortably, safely, and with dignity.

This Guest Attendant position provides compassionate support to Chartwell residents. You will assist with personal care, daily routines, medications, and individual care plans. Empathy, patience, hygiene, and clear communication are central to the work.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist residents with personal care, mobility, dressing, and meals
• Administer medications and follow individual care plans
• Support laundry, light housekeeping, and meal service
• Maintain clean, safe resident areas and follow safety protocols
• Report resident and family concerns to the Health and Wellness Manager

Requirements:

• Experience in personal care, laundry, food service, or support services
• Secondary school education; care training preferred
• Ability to read, follow, and communicate instructions effectively
• Empathy, patience, and understanding of seniors’ needs
• Flexibility, physical ability, and willingness to wear required protective equipment
