Remote Mining Human Resources Advisor

Lead practical HR support in a remote mining environment, using employee relations and performance management skills at Red Chris Mine.

Tahltan Nation Development Corporation is hiring a Site Human Resources Advisor for its full-time rotational operation. Working with site leadership, operations, and HSE, you will help maintain safe, respectful, and inclusive workplace practices. Your responsibilities span policy guidance, employee support, compliance, records, payroll inquiries, and disability or return-to-work programs. The schedule is two weeks on and two weeks off at Red Chris Mine in Dease Lake, British Columbia.

Key Responsibilities:

• Act as the site HR contact for employees and supervisors
• Ensure compliance with legislation, policies, and HR practices
• Support progressive discipline and disability programs with leadership
• Collaborate with operations and HSE on workplace safety
• Participate in toolbox talks and required site meetings

Requirements:

• Experience supporting employee relations and performance management
• Strong communication, conflict resolution, and decision-making skills
• Ability to manage priorities in changing operational conditions
• Experience in remote or rotational camps is an asset
• Valid Class 5 driver’s license and driver’s abstract
