Arizona Licensed Associate Faculty - PMHNP

To support the educational development of students, the part-time Arizona Licensed Associate Faculty - PMHNP will instruct graduate courses in Neuropsychiatric Pharmacology in a fully remote environment, engaging with students to enhance academic success and providing additional support as needed. Key responsibilities Deliver course content and assessments while maintaining an engaged classroom presence to foster student learning and success Proactively address student academic issues and provide additional resources such as coaching and tutoring as required Attend faculty meetings and maintain current knowledge of instructional standards and course updates to enhance teaching effectiveness Required qualifications Doctor of Nursing Science, Doctor of Nursing Practice, PhD in Nursing, Doctor of Pharmacy, or equivalent medical degree Master's degree in Nursing with a minimum of 5 years of clinical nursing experience as a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner, including 2 years of current experience Active unencumbered Registered Nurse (RN) license and Advanced Practice Registered Nurse (APRN) certification in the state of practice National Certification as a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner Familiarity with adult education teaching and learning theory
