Position: Electronic Assembler / PCB Soldering Technician
Location: Montreal West Island
Salary: Up to $20.50/hour
Schedule: Full-time, Permanent, Day Shift

We are currently seeking an Electronic Assembler to join our production team. In this role, you will assemble, inspect, and repair electronic circuits and components used in specialized applications while following detailed work instructions, schematics, and quality standards.

Important: This position is subject to the Controlled Goods Program requirements. Candidates must be able to obtain the necessary Controlled Goods clearance.

Responsibilities

• Assemble electronic products according to work instructions, schematics, and bills of materials.
• Perform soldering and rework on SMT and through-hole components.
• Repair and replace electronic components as required.
• Complete finishing tasks such as potting, epoxy application, cleaning, sanding, and inspection.
• Ensure all products meet quality and workmanship standards.
• Follow production procedures, safety requirements, and quality control guidelines.

Qualifications

• Minimum 6 months of hands-on SMT and through-hole soldering experience
• Experience assembling printed circuit boards (PCBs)
• Ability to read and follow work instructions and assembly documentation
• Good manual dexterity and attention to detail
• Strong color recognition skills
• Eligibility to obtain Controlled Goods clearance is required
• IPC certification is an asset
