Job description
Support clients at home as a Professional Caregiver in Windsor and LaSalle, using personal care, communication, and daily living assistance skills.
This flexible part-time or full-time position serves clients throughout Essex County. Professional Caregivers provide compassionate in-home support, companionship, household assistance, and simple meal preparation. PSW or DSW certification is preferred, while certification in progress is also considered.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide personal care and support in clients’ homes
- Assist with light housekeeping and household tasks
- Prepare simple meals according to client needs
- Offer companionship and meaningful conversation
- Support daily living activities, safety, dignity, and comfort
Requirements:
- PSW or DSW certification preferred
- Previous personal or professional caregiving experience is an asset
- Valid driver’s license and reliable vehicle access
- Ability to pass a criminal background check
- Two professional references and English communication skills
