Job description
Engineer scalable cloud infrastructure for TD’s observability services in Mississauga, applying Python, Kubernetes, and Infrastructure as Code practices.
This Software Engineer II develops solutions for Enterprise Monitoring across Azure, GCP, and Private Cloud platforms. The work supports Dynatrace, Datadog, and Splunk while helping application owners, developers, and Site Reliability Engineers gain operational insights. The role includes technical consulting and subject matter expertise.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop infrastructure and platform code using DevOps practices
- Deploy observability solutions across Azure and GCP
- Use Terraform, Saltstack, and Ansible orchestration tools
- Support infrastructure deployment for project teams
- Troubleshoot infrastructure and software operational issues
Requirements:
- Write scalable Python and Shell scripts
- Know Java, .net, or NodeJS programming
- Demonstrate expertise with Kubernetes containerization
- Understand Linux or Windows system-level architecture
- Have two-plus years of related Cloud Engineer experience
