Automotive Parts Department Manager

Lead automotive parts operations with The Ducharme Group, focusing on inventory control and exceptional customer service. This is a full time management position.

The Parts Manager leads a busy department serving bodyshops, day to day customers, service departments, wholesale accounts, and do-it-yourself customers. The position oversees purchasing procedures, staff utilization, security, pricing, merchandising, displaying, and advertising. Success requires managing inventory and supporting dealership profitability.

Key Responsibilities:

• Forecast department goals and objectives
• Hire, train, motivate, counsel, and monitor parts staff
• Prepare and administer the annual operating budget
• Maintain balanced inventory for department requirements
• Analyze monthly sales, expenses, and inventory

Requirements:

• Previous Parts Manager experience in a retail setting
• Licensed Parts Technician preferred
• Excellent communication, customer service, and leadership skills
• Proven inventory management history, including turns and returns
• Valid driver's license and acceptable driving abstract
