Business Systems Support Specialist

Support business systems for the City of Abbotsford with technical troubleshooting and user assistance in a full-time Parks, Recreation and Culture position.

This experienced Business Systems Support Clerk provides administrative and technical support across departmental business processes. The position manages software support tickets, investigates system issues, responds to user inquiries, and supports in-house training. Technical computer literacy and sound priority decisions are essential.

Key Responsibilities:

• Guide users on departmental business systems and processes
• Troubleshoot software applications and investigate system-related issues
• Manage technical support tickets across various applications
• Respond to user inquiries effectively and promptly
• Support development and delivery of in-house training

Requirements:

• Completion of Grade 12 education
• Post-secondary information technology or related courses
• Minimum two years of business systems support experience
• High degree of technical computer literacy
• XplorRecreation, KACE, or Stone Orchard experience considered an asset
