Job description
Support UPS package deliveries in Newmarket as a part-time seasonal Driver Helper, using customer service and package-handling skills. No driving is required.
This UPS position assists Package Drivers with deliveries and pickups at drop boxes and customer locations. You will walk packages to recipients, meet drivers locally, and work Monday through Friday. The assignment requires flexibility around 11:00 AM to 3:00 PM and availability for up to 25 hours weekly. Continuous lifting, carrying, and loading support are central to the work.
Key Responsibilities:
- Meet UPS drivers at assigned local meet points
- Deliver and pick up packages efficiently
- Handle packages using UPS delivery methods
- Assist with loading and unloading trucks
- Record and track delivered package information
Requirements:
- Lift up to 70 pounds unassisted
- Work Monday through Friday with flexible start times
- Walk while delivering packages outdoors
- Work in hot and cold weather conditions
- Demonstrate strong customer service skills
