Weekend Security Guard Surrey

Work weekend security shifts in Surrey’s Newton BIA area, applying public communication, organization, and physical patrol capabilities.

This Security Officer assignment runs Saturdays and Sundays from 0800 to 1600. You will support local businesses and the community while conducting extensive foot patrols. The work calls for proven public-facing experience, time management, and written and verbal communication.

Key Responsibilities:

• Support local businesses and community members in Newton BIA
• Complete extensive foot patrols during weekend shifts
• Provide professional service to members of the public
• Manage time and organize assigned security duties
• Respond thoughtfully while solving problems independently

Requirements:

• Valid BC security license
• Two or more years’ security position experience
• Basic First Aid Certificate
• Advanced Security Training Certificate
• Physical ability to remain standing throughout shifts
