EA SPORTS FC Quality Engineer

Help EA SPORTS FC identify quality issues earlier through automation, developer tools, and stronger test feedback in hybrid Burnaby, BC.

As a Software Engineer II in FC Quality Verification Engineering, you will support automation for the Companion App across iOS, Android, and web. You will create modular components, maintain test environments, and connect automated checks with development workflows. The role reports to an Engineering Manager.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop automation components for mobile and web flows
• Maintain device labs, emulators, and simulations
• Provide secure authentication and diagnostics within Continuous Integration
• Separate application, test, and environment failures
• Partner with developers and quality teams on coverage

Requirements:

• Two or more years of professional development or automation experience
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related technical field
• Academic exposure to Artificial Intelligence or Machine Learning concepts
• TypeScript or JavaScript, automated testing, code review, and Git
• Appium, WebdriverIO, Detox, Espresso, or XCUITest experience
