Clinical Informatics Application Analyst

Apply clinical workflow analysis and application support at Hotel Dieu Shaver Health and Rehabilitation Centre in the Niagara Region. Train users and improve system adoption.

This permanent full-time Health Informatics Analyst maintains and optimizes the Hospital Information System and other healthcare applications. The position supports clinical, operational, and business users through troubleshooting, education, onboarding, and change activities. Collaboration includes clinicians, physicians, operational leaders, Digital Health teams, vendors, and regional partners.

Key Responsibilities:

• Investigate system incidents and resolve first-line support issues
• Collaborate with clinicians to optimize system usage
• Create guides, videos, job aids, and e-learning resources
• Coordinate access, education, and competency requirements
• Monitor data quality and documentation compliance indicators

Requirements:

• Health Informatics, Health Information Management, or related credential
• Three to five years' healthcare informatics experience preferred
• Familiarity with Oracle Health or major HIS platforms
• Effective communication with clinical and non-clinical partners
• Experience with healthcare change management and user adoption
