Known internally as Financial Advisor, Investment and Retirement Planning, this role manages an assigned client portfolio within Scotiabank’s retail branch network. You will deepen investment and primary banking relationships while contributing to deposit and investment sales goals. The position focuses on retirement planning, wealth accumulation, estate planning, and personalized financial strategies. You will educate clients, provide investment guidance, and use technology tools to strengthen interactions and planning processes.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct in-depth retirement, wealth accumulation, and estate planning reviews
- Deliver trusted investment and retirement planning advice
- Develop personalized financial strategies and solutions
- Build long-standing relationships with assigned and referred clients
- Meet negotiated deposit and investment sales goals
Requirements:
- Experience in financial planning and investment sales preferred
- Completed CIFP, CFP, or bank-recognized equivalent designation
- Mutual Funds Representative certification in good standing
- Knowledge of market trends, economic conditions, and regulatory requirements
- Results-driven approach within a collaborative team culture
