Pharmacy Student Learning Placement

Develop pharmacy practice skills through coaching, research, and program activities at Walmart’s pharmacy location in Brampton, Ontario.

This Retail Pharmacy Student placement supports practical application of knowledge under a licensed pharmacist’s direct supervision. You will become familiar with pharmacy procedures, learning objectives, and program expectations. Regular Coach meetings provide feedback while you complete applicable assignments and learning activities.

Key Responsibilities:

• Familiarize yourself with program activities and objectives
• Meet regularly with your Coach for feedback
• Assume responsibility for your own learning
• Complete OTC scenarios and weekly topics
• Complete projects, follow-ups, and patient consultations

Requirements:

• Interest in a career in pharmacy
• Willingness to undertake a variety of tasks
• Understanding of pharmacy site policies and procedures
• Ability to integrate activities with job responsibilities
• Ability to complete required program evaluations
