Job description
Lead overnight receiving at The Home Depot Canada using team coaching, shipment planning, and powered lift equipment in a supervisor role.
As an Overnight Receiving Supervisor, you guide associates under Department Supervisor management and help meet business needs. You manage staffing, performance, safety communication, inbound merchandise, shipping paperwork, and receiving accuracy. The role requires leadership experience, organization, customer service, and sound decision-making.
Key Responsibilities:
- Ensure department staffing meets overnight business needs
- Coach, train, motivate, and recognize associates
- Communicate and enforce Safety and Asset Protection protocols
- Review inbound logs and plan receiving needs
- Unload merchandise and verify quantity and quality
Requirements:
- One to two years supervising or leading teams
- Flexible availability for days, evenings, and weekends
- Excellent organizational and interpersonal skills
- Strong customer service and problem-solving abilities
- Licensed powered lift equipment operation
