Build online gaming technology with Ubisoft Montreal as a Senior Online Systems Programmer focused on C++ and networking. Develop middleware supporting multiple Ubisoft productions.
You will work within Core Services - Online Tech Foundations on distributed systems and middleware used in games. Your contributions will cover online services, networking, low-level programming, and engine-integrated web components. The position also involves technical influence.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and evolve distributed systems and game middleware
- Improve reliable, maintainable, high-performing C++ solutions
- Optimize performance and solve complex technical problems
- Reduce risks and technical debt in sustainable solutions
- Influence architecture and strategic technical directions
Requirements:
- Advanced modern C++ proficiency, including C++17, C++20, and C++23
- Expertise in software architecture and complex systems
- Low-level knowledge of memory, multithreading, and CPU optimization
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Proficiency with Continuous Integration and Continuous Deployment practices
