Self Checkout Customer Service Associate

Support Walmart customers in Powell River with self-checkout guidance, transaction processing, and courteous service. Help shoppers complete purchases efficiently while maintaining a welcoming front-end experience.

This Front End Checkout Team Associate position focuses on customer interaction and transaction accuracy. You will educate customers about self-checkout options, assist with merchandise bagging and loading, and promote company-sponsored programs. You will also maintain register security, follow safe work practices, and refer appropriate concerns to a Customer Service Manager or Front End Team Lead.

Key Responsibilities:

• Educate customers on correct self-checkout procedures
• Process purchase transactions promptly and efficiently
• Greet customers in a friendly, polite manner
• Assist with bagging and loading purchased merchandise
• Refer service matters to designated front-end leaders

Requirements:

• Be 16 years of age or older
